• Represented a US grain trading company in a GAFTA arbitration regarding a grain sales contract dispute with a domestic enterprise, resulting in a favorable award.
• Represented a Hong Kong shipping company in a London arbitration (LMAA) concerning demurrage disputes with a shipowner, achieving a successful outcome.
• Represented a Hong Kong coal trading company in an SIAC arbitration against a Singaporean company over a trade contract dispute arising from cargo unavailability at the loading port, ultimately settled through mediation.
• Represented a Hong Kong shipping company in an ad hoc arbitration in Hong Kong concerning a charterparty dispute, resolved via settlement.
• Represented a large state-owned enterprise in Xiamen in a sorghum sales contract dispute triggered by the 2018 US-China trade war, involving parallel proceedings in GAFTA arbitration and before the Xiamen Intermediate People’s Court regarding arbitration clause validity.
• Represented a large state-owned enterprise in a port storage contract dispute arising from a chain of warehouse receipt pledges leading to capital chain rupture, with a claim amount of RMB 120 million, involving complex procedures such as asset preservation, jurisdictional objections, civil litigation, third-party revocation actions, administrative reconsideration, and administrative litigation.
• Represented a Singapore-based resources group in multiple recognition and enforcement proceedings in China of foreign arbitral awards (including LMAA, ICC, SIAC, cotton association, and GAFTA awards).
• Represented a Xiamen state-owned enterprise in a maritime carriage of goods dispute concerning heat damage to soybeans shipped from Argentina to a Chinese port, resulting in a favorable judgment.
• Represented a Korean company in a collision case involving the vessel Heung-A Janice and a ship owned by a domestic company.

• Advised a domestic enterprise on investing in a new energy company via capital increase and share expansion.
• Provided legal services for a domestic enterprise’s investment in a sand and gravel mining project, including due diligence, negotiation and drafting of cooperation agreements, and post-investment management.
• Advised a domestic enterprise on its West Africa offshore transshipment project, including establishment of a Singapore joint venture, and drafting and review of related agreements.
• Assisted a domestic enterprise in establishing a joint venture with a local partner in Indonesia.
