Yanhui (Amy) Gong is a seasoned legal professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience. She began her career at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto, one of Japan's leading law firms, where she spent a decade advising on inbound foreign direct investment and M&A transactions. She subsequently spent ten years in-house at two global retail brands —UNIQLO and lululemon—where she developed a rare dual perspective: the commercial acumen of a business partner combined with the rigor of external counsel. During her tenure at lululemon China, Amy built the company's legal function from the ground up and led cross-functional initiatives that delivered end-to-end legal support across every business line. Notably, the cross-border data compliance program she spearheaded was recognized with the China Business Law Journal's "In-House Legal Team Contribution Award" in 2024. She is also a certified Personal Information Protection Compliance Auditor. In her current role as a legal expert at AnJie Broad Law Firm, Amy advises clients on inbound investment and M&A, outbound investment ("Going Global"), privacy and data compliance, and general compliance and legal support for the retail and consumer goods sector.
