Ren has also benefited from her nearly two-decade experience at international law firms where she acquired profound understanding to legal practice and to the commercial goals of her Chinese and multinational company clients. In addition to providing legal services in M&A, FDI, major industrial and energy projects such as city water supply, power projects，traditional energy and renewable energy projects, and EPC contracts and commercial contracts, Ren also provide solution oriented legal advice to clients in relation to various areas, e.g. corporate restructure, corporate governance, regulatory issues, dispute resolution, compliance and daily operational issues.
Working Experience
Ms. Ren started her legal career as a legal officer in the Department of Law and Treaties in the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation and Trade of China. She also worked in Clifford Chance, Simmons & Simmons, Jones Day and Dewey & LeBoeuf, in their German and Hong Kong offices and King & Wood in Beijing. Before joined Broad & Bright, Mr. Ren was a senior legal counsel to Shell (China) Co. Ltd. Ren’s decade-long work experience in China’s governmental agency helps her to understand soundly the Chinese administrative and legal system and the way such system operates.
