Li Dan has been practicing civil and commercial law since 2005. She worked as a judge in Beijing Tongzhou District People's Court for 8 years and Beijing Third Intermediate People's Court for 4 years. She worked as Senior Counsel in Haiwen & Partners before joining AnJie Broad Law firm.

 

Li Dan has rich experience in Dispute Resolution and Litigation involving of contract, shareholding, investment, insurance, real estate and construction. During her work as a judge, over 2,800 cases were heard by Li Dan, and many of her judgments were selected as excellent cases by the Supreme People's Court of China and awarded numerous honors and prizes. 

 

As an attorney, Li Dan has a strong knowledge of civil and commercial law with profound legal literacy, abundant practice experience and excellent presentation skills. She is especially expert in representing significant, complex and difficult disputes and achieved outstanding results. Li Dan has successfully represented many appellate cases and helped the losing party reverse and remand the judgment.

 

Li Dan is also an expert of Disposal of Nonperforming Assets and Insolvency Restructuring.

Commercial Litigation

  • Representing Mr. Yang in a financial dispute of 450 million yuan, which was heard by the Fourth Circuit Court of the Supreme People’s Court.
  • Representing a state-owned power company in a property damage compensation dispute of 600 million yuan, which was heard by the Fifth Circuit Court of the Supreme People’s Court.
  • Representing an insurance company in a property damage compensation dispute which was heard by the Sixth Circuit Court of the Supreme People’s Court.
  • Applying for bankruptcy to relevant court and representing a company in claims and exercising debtor’s rights.
  • • Advising an investment company in a bond trading dispute of 110 million yuan.
  • Representing an insurance company in a land lease dispute of 70 million yuan, which was heard by Beijing High People’s Court.
  • Representing a bond company in a dispute over contract for security repurchase, which was heard by Beijing High People’s Court.
  • Representing a state-owned company in a sale and purchase contract.


Commercial Arbitration

  • Representing a company in a partnership contract dispute of 100 million yuan, which was settled by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
  • Representing a technology company in a security repurchase dispute of 120 million yuan, which was settled by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
  • Representing the Fuzhou branch of a state-owned insurance company in a insurance contract dispute, which was settled by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
  • Representing a medicine company in a medical service contract dispute, which was settled by the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).
  • Representing an internet company in a contract dispute, which was settled by Beijing Arbitration Commission (BJAC).
